Cookie Policy
1. The entity that places information in the form of cookies and other similar technologies on the User’s end device (e.g., computer, laptop, smartphone, smart TV) and obtains access to them is EUROPE LOCALIZE Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (limited liability company) with its registered office in Sieradz, and Trusted Partners, i.e., entities collaborating with us, such as: partners providing analytical services, advertisers, application developers, and network advertising agencies.
2. Cookies constitute IT data, specifically text files, that are stored on the User’s end device. EUROPE LOCALIZE Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (limited liability company) with its registered office in Sieradz and its registered office in Warsaw. Cookies typically contain the domain name of the website from which they originate, the duration of their storage on the end device, and a unique number. Cookies do not identify the user and are not used to determine the user’s identity.
3. The publisher’s website may place a cookie in the browser if the browser allows it. Importantly, a browser only allows a website to access cookies placed by that website, not cookies placed by other websites.
4. Each individual cookie is composed of four basic parts:
a) the name of the website, i.e., the domain or subdomain that set the cookie.
b) the unique cookie name assigned to it on the website that generated it.
c) cookie expiration dates – some cookies expire when the browser is closed (so-called session cookies), while others are automatically deleted once they reach their set expiration date (so-called persistent cookies).
d) a value, i.e., the information contained in the cookie that the website uses to keep a record of previous visits.
5. Cookies contain basic information about users (such as identifiers) as well as various types of data that enable the optimization and correct presentation of website content. The information stored in cookies is used for purposes such as:
a) recognizing users who log in to protected websites, thus allowing them to use multiple websites without having to enter their username and password on each page;
b) creating a register of user preferences, i.e., browsing formats and content viewed, without the need to set individual preferences each time you visit a website.
c) preparing a register of pages visited by users – this serves as a basis for obtaining data that facilitates improvements to the content displayed on the pages and the navigation of the website.
6. Cookies are also used to:
a) tailor the content of websites to User preferences and optimize the use of websites; in particular, these files allow us to recognize the User’s device and properly display the website, tailored to their individual needs.
b) create statistics that help us understand how Users use websites, which allows us to improve their structure and content.
7. The website uses two basic types of cookies: “session cookies” and “persistent cookies.” “Session cookies” are temporary files that are stored on the User’s end device until logging out, leaving the website, or disabling the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until deleted by the User.
8. The website uses the following types of cookies:
a) “essential” cookies, enabling the use of services available on the website, e.g., authentication cookies used for services that require authentication on the website.
b) cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect authentication abuse on the website.
c) “performance” cookies, enabling the collection of information about how the website’s web pages are used.
d) “functional” cookies, which enable the “remembering” of settings selected by the User and personalization of the User interface, e.g., in terms of the selected language or region of the User’s origin, font size, website appearance, etc.
e) “advertising” cookies, which enable the delivery of advertising content to Users that is more tailored to their interests.
9. When visiting the Administrator’s website, a window appears informing you that cookies are used on the website. If the visitor selects “I accept,” this means they have consented to all cookies on the website and acknowledge that they have read the information about cookies, the purposes for which they are used, and when information is transferred to third parties.
10. For “essential” cookies, consent is not required, as these cookies ensure the full and continuous display of content on the website.
11. If a visitor to the Administrator’s website does not want their device to use cookies, they can manage their cookie preferences by selecting them from the list of cookies used on the website – in the footer at the bottom of the page, under the “Cookie Settings” tab.
Changes/selections may affect the functionality of the website and may prevent them from receiving personalized offers or advertisements.
12. Visitors to the Controller’s website may at any time change the cookies they allow or refuse the use of cookies. They can opt out of all cookies, except for “required” cookies. Consent can be expressed or withdrawn by clicking the appropriate button (footer at the bottom of the page, in the “Cookie Policy” tab).
13. Recipients of information from cookies placed on the Website User’s end device may include: Google LLC and entities commissioning the implementation of advertising campaigns, as well as entities researching and measuring these campaigns. This data may also be shared with the Controller’s commercial partners based in Warsaw.
14. The Company may use Google Analytics and Universal Analytics services on the website, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). These services help the Controller compile statistics and analyze website traffic. The collected data is processed as part of these services to generate statistics that assist in website administration and website traffic analysis. This data is aggregated. When using the above services on the website, the Administrator collects data such as the sources and means of acquiring website visitors and their behavior on the website, information about the devices and browsers from which they visit the website, IP and domain, geographic data, and demographic data (age, gender), and interests.
15. It is possible for a given person to easily block the sharing of information about their activity on the website with Google Analytics – for this purpose, they can, for example, install a browser add-on provided by Google Ireland Ltd., available here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=pl.
16. The Controller uses marketing tools available on the website within Facebook and provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. These tools target Facebook advertisements to the User. They do this based on the Controller’s legitimate interest in marketing their own products or services.
17. In order to target personalized advertisements to the User based on the User’s behavior on the Controller’s website, Facebook Pixel has been implemented, which automatically collects information about the User’s use of the Controller’s website, including the pages viewed. The information collected in this way is most often transferred to a Facebook server in the United States and stored there.
18. Information collected through Facebook Pixel is anonymous – it does not allow for the identification of the User. The Administrator obtains information about the User’s actions on the Administrator’s website. Please be advised that Facebook may combine this information with other information about the User collected as part of the User’s use of Facebook and use it for its own purposes, including marketing. Such Facebook activities are no longer dependent on the Administrator, and information about them can be found directly in Facebook’s privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation. The User can also manage their privacy settings through their Facebook account.
19. Within the cookie settings available on the Administrator’s website, the User can decide whether to consent to the use of Facebook Pixel.
20. The Administrator’s website uses plugins and other social media tools provided by social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, and LinkedIn.
21. When displaying the Controller’s website containing such a plugin, the User’s browser will establish a direct connection to the servers of the social media administrators (service providers). The content of the plugin is transmitted by the respective service provider directly to the User’s browser and integrated into the website. Through this integration, the service providers receive information that the User’s browser has viewed the Controller’s website, even if the User does not have a profile with the given service provider or is not currently logged in. This information (along with the IP address) is sent by the User’s browser directly to the server of the given service provider (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there. If the User has logged in to a social media service, the service provider will be able to directly assign the visit to the Controller’s website to the User’s profile on the given social media service.
22. If the User uses a given plugin, for example, by clicking the “Like” or “Share” button, the relevant information will also be sent directly to the server of the given service provider and stored there. Furthermore, this information will be published on the relevant social networking site and will be visible to the User’s contacts. The purpose and scope of data collection and its further processing and use by service providers, as well as the User’s contact options and rights in this regard, and the ability to configure settings to protect the User’s privacy, are described in the privacy policies of the individual service providers:

23. If the User does not consent to social media services associating data collected during visits to the Controller’s website directly with the User’s profile on that website, the User must log out of that website before visiting the Controller’s website. The User can also completely prevent plugins from loading on the website by using appropriate browser extensions, such as script blocking.
24. When playing a video or audio file, Google or SoundCloud receives information about the playback, even if the User does not have a Google or SoundCloud profile or is not currently logged in. This information (along with the IP address) is sent by the User’s browser directly to the server of the relevant service provider (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there.
25. If the User is logged in to Google, the service provider will be able to directly assign the video playback on the Controller’s website to the User’s Google profile. The purpose and scope of data collection and their further processing and use by the service provider, as well as the possibility of contact and the User’s rights in this regard, and the possibility of making settings to protect privacy are described in the Google privacy policy.
26. If the User does not consent to Google assigning data collected during video playback directly to the User’s profile on a given website, the User must log out of that website before visiting the Controller’s website. The User can also completely prevent plugins from loading on the website by using appropriate browser extensions, such as script blockers.
27. Google’s privacy policy can be found at: (https://policies.google.com/privacy), and SoundCloud’s privacy policy at: (https://soundcloud.com/pages/privacy).
28. Most browsers allow users to control cookies in their browser preferences. Users can refuse to accept cookies through their browser settings. Depending on the browser used, it may also be possible to specify more detailed conditions for storing cookies, for example, by blocking only cookies used by individual websites, blocking only specific cookies, or deleting individual cookies already stored on the User’s device.
